PRIVATE EVENT - Field Trip Program

The Whitemarsh Foundation is excited to partner with TB Wildlife Photography LLC and the Free Library of Philadelphia - Andorra Branch to bring this program just in time for spring.

This immersive, hands-on experience will welcome 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th graders from Martin Luther School at Gemma Services for a multi-part field trip series designed to connect young people with the natural environment.

Throughout the program, students will explore different ways to engage with and appreciate the natural world around them. Led by knowledgeable instructors and special guest speakers, each field trip will focus on key topics such as local wildlife identification, outdoor exploration, and stewardship.

Our goal with this program is to inspire curiosity, foster a sense of responsibility toward nature, and encourage young learners to become active participants in environmental preservation. This enriching experience promises to be a memorable adventure for all, with plenty of time for reflection and creativity as they connect with the land and gain new perspectives on the environment.

We look forward to welcoming these young explorers to Dixon Meadow Preserve this spring!
